I’m Savannah Roberts, a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.

I will be joining the University of Virginia as an Assistant Professor of Psychology in Fall 2027! Stay tuned for updates as my lab develops.

My research is theory-driven and youth-centered, focusing on body image, disordered eating, LGBTQ+ youth, and the role of social media.

At the heart of my work is one question: How can we harness digital technologies to promote positive body image and improve adolescents’ mental health?

I’m completing my doctoral training under the mentorship of Dr. Sophia Choukas-Bradley.
